We're on page 5 of the Bexley Times today, with The Woolwich taking centre stage in front of the old Royal Arsenal buildings.

    Will she be oil or COAL fired, once restored ??

    Hullo STEAMTRAIN 1.

    She's going to be restored to her Royal Arsenal (1916 - 1959) condition so she will remain oil fired. It's expected that she'll also be re-fitted with the conical pattern chimney.

    Of course, there's nothing like coal for aroma and atmosphere but 'Woolwich' has never been so fired and we owe it to her to retain originality.
